Medical Educational Program Design

Clinical independence is maintained at all times
Frontier Health Events: Survey the needs of doctors and work with doctors to determine educational content.
Assess other factors that may impact on the delivery of optimal patient care. Determine the best educational delivery approach for each topic area to both assist doctors in providing the best patient care and to ensure doctors will get most benefit.

Approaches include:

A) a short update only
B) a multidisciplinary approach
C) a holistic approach
D) or a combination approach.

From our research and network of high calibre speakers we then determine which speakers will be most suited for the
content and the particular delivery method. Speakers are asked to provide updates, including benefits/ any adverse effects and practical management advice based on their own experience to help doctors optimise patient care. The emphasis is on what is best for which patient.

Updates and practical management tips are NOT aligned with any any product or treatment. It is strictly designed for optimising patient care!

To maintain the highest level of independence and practical relevance to the needs of General Practice we invite medical practices, past delegates, associate GP organisations and partners to review final program topics and provide feedback and questions that they would like the speakers to address in their presentations. This data is both used for updates and to prepare presentation guidelines for our speakers.

Sponsorship Guidelines

To date, November 2009 Frontier Health Event symposiums and seminars have not been sponsored. In order to meet increasing demand for our seminars and to keep registration fees to a minimum, Frontier Health Events is reviewing its sponsorship policy with a view to possibility accepting sponsorship in specified circumstances.Our aim is to keep registration fees reasonable and still affordable.
Frontier Health Events has stringent and transparent pharmaceutical sponsorship guidelines to ensure that Independence and patient care is optimised. Any sponsorship arrangements will be fully disclosed in seminar materials. All sponsorship will comply with RACGP sponsorship guidelines and Frontier Health Events ethical and moral values.

Frontier Heath Events is dedicated to developing long term partnerships and relationships based on a strong foundation of trust, ethics, morality and optimisation of patient care. Frontier Health Events strives for partnership with General Practice where GPs and their practices have a strong influence on the content of the program.
